Today marks day 2 of R Kelly’s trial with his victim Jerhonda Pace making a return to the stand. She testified about the 6 months of abuse she suffered at the hands of Kelly when she was 16 speaking about how he wanted her to dress as a Girl Scout in pig tails. She was the first witness in the trial on its first day Wednesday for charges relted to racketeering, sexual exploitation of a child, kidnapping, bribery, sex trafficking and forced labor between 1994 and 2018 pertaining to 6 victims.
Pace, now 28 experienced this abuse at 16 when kelly was 42 said she also had been brought to his mansion, told to call him Daddy and was choked until she passed out. Buzzfeed reporter Julia Reinstein reported that Kelly’s attorney asked her why she just took off her clothes instead of saying no to his demands at her first trip to his mansion.
Kelly is expected to spend his life behind bars if convicted on all 9 counts. He’s accused of being the ringleader of procuring underage boys, girls as well as adult women for his sexual pleasure. Some victims were trafficked across state lines and he’s been accused of passing herpes on to others. And they were all blackmailed with video tapes of them having sex.
