Diddy might be making all the headlines for misconduct these days but R Kelly just caught a couple random strays from his family. R Kelly has been behind bars now for 2 full years and his ex-wife Drea Kelly doesn’t want us to forget about what got him there. In a new social media post she shared a video announcement of her new book Under The Red Carpet and even managed to throw a jab at Diddy by sharing several photos of him and her ex-husband together. In a voiceover she can be heard saying, ”fame costs and right here is where you start paying for it in blood, sweat and tears…I did.” And in the caption of the video she wrote that she was ready to “disrupt the deception” that has occurred over the years.

“I am a BEAST and a BUTTERFLY. God said it is so. The time has come to disrupt the deception. For years people have spoken on my life without knowing ANYTHING about me.” She continued, “How crazy is it to speak on someone you NEVER MET or had a conversation with as FACT. Well, the time has come to speak without fear! No more forcing a smile to get thru the pain of being me. No more “be nice” to please an unpleasant world. My book is going to set so many free and if you have a problem….it’s not with me! Take it up with GOD. This is his will and it is so.”

And in comes her daughter Joanne who has some family dirt herself she wants shared. Her announcement of her documentary R Kelly’s Karma: A Daughter’s Journey was announced just days ago soon to be airing on the Tvei Network. It will be featuring “raw and emotional” interviews with her, her siblings Jaah Kelly and Robert Kelly Jr, and mother Drea Kelly as they share “dark reality of living in the shadow of one of the most notorious figures in music.” In the preview that came out this Sunday, she said “Nobody wants to be the child of a father that is out here hurting women and children.” Through tears she said “For a long time, I didn’t even want to believe that it happened. I didn’t know that even if he was a bad person that he would do something to me. I really feel like that one millisecond completely just changed my whole life.” If you’re ready to hear his family’s perspective of things, make sure to tune in to the Tvei Network October 11th.
