Chicago rapper King Von tragically passed at away in a club shooting at 26 this past November. To show the extent of appreciation for his artistry, a new mural just went up in his old neighborhood of O Block keeping his legacy alive. The only thing is that the artist behind the mural so far is unknown. Lil Durk has so far made it there to visit it in person paying his respect for his frequent collaborator no longer here.

His ex, Asian Doll had just opened up about how she was struggling moving on emotionally since his passing yesterday saying, “Bro I will give up everything just to have 1 more conversation with von shit even a hug,” she began a series of posts on Twitter. “Nothing has ever broken me but this right here breaking me into pieces. I hope one day I stop feeling like this.” Nevermind she’s been feuding with his family that points out that they weren’t together when he passed, that still doesn’t mean she can’t miss him.

Durk has reflected on the lives of those closest to him that have died in recent years to include King Von saying he wasn’t mentioning anyone dead in his music anymore to keep the violence down. If they died from gang violence, he doesn’t want to be seen as trying to perpetuate and keep it going. That’s what we call taking responsibility however you can for your environment.
Of course Tekashi69 said Lil Durk just got scared after an associate of his got shot in the head and told him not to stop now. Of course this is Tekashi we’re talking about who is lucky for every day he continues walking around either free or alive for the things he’s said out of his mouth. He should probably think about following suit.
