The last time we covered rapper Lil Xan he had gotten in his feelings when someone confronted him over some nonsense he had said about Tupac. Now Tupac and Biggie are arguably the most contested rappers when it comes to their legacies. That’s how the east coast west coast beef carried on in the 90s. And he was riding the coattails of a trend of bashing veteran rappers for attention and that time and got exactly what he was asking for. Well now his chickens have come home to roost.

A judge has just ordered Lil Xan, whose real name is Nicholas Leanos to pay the man who approached him in a gas station about the disrespectful things he had said about Tupac, $27,000 for pulling a gun out on him. The exact amount is actually $27,823.89. The event with the victim Anthony Sanchez sparked a change for Xan because he had been checked into a psych ward in part from depression over things he had been reading about himself online. And he later went into rehab. He even went on social media at one point asking people not to talk about him if they didn’t know him, saying he was human just like the rest of us.

At the end of the day, the judgment was filed against Lil Xan by default because he failed to respond to the legal complaint filed against him. The whole ordeal occurred on camera. What was he going to say? He knew he was wrong. This was in 2019. He’s 28 now. Hopefully he’s grown up and at the very least, he’ll have enough sense not to threaten someone with a weapon while being recorded.
