NLE Choppa was arrested over the weekend on a number of charges in Broward County, Florida to include burglary, gun and drug charges. Apparently he admitted to police he jumped over a fence to get a watch inside of a vehicle that had been towed. We’re going to assume the car belonged to him. Let’s hope it did anyway. Unfortunately, the car he and his two accomplices were looking for wasn’t in the private tow lot they were in. The masked trio hopped back into the 2019 Ford Expedition they arrived in.

A felony traffic stop was conducted where the police noticed firearms that no one claimed to know anything about. There was also marijuana in the vehicle. Choppa, whose real name is Bryson Potts is currently being held on a $4,500 bond. Official charges are Burglary of an Unoccupied Structure (Unarmed), Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Possession of Cannabis (20 Grams Less/Synth Cann 3 GMs Less) and Possession of Alprazolam (Xanax). And his accomplices are Zyrion Matlock and Thony Coleman.

“During a tow inventory of the vehicle, a Glock 27 with an extended magazine (# BELM588) and a AK-47 Draco pistol (# PMO-16706-19RO) were clearly visible in the backseat of the Ford Expedition. The firearms were readily accessible to Bryson, Matlock and Thony Coleman who were all seating in the rear seat of the Ford Expedition. The firearms were fully loaded with a round in the chamber.” The affidavit adds that none of the three men had a “valid concealed carry weapon permit or were of age (21).”

This kid just turned 18 and is already out on Miami Vice missions. Not to be funny, but shouldn’t he be somewhere doing something safe like getting someone pregnant? We know the creeps have been keeping an eye on him. At least that doesn’t come with jail time. Come on kiddo… let’s get it together. In his defense, we don’t know what type of watch is in that car. If it’s worth 6 figures, I’d probably be doing the same thing. And $4,500 isn’t bad for bail. Just saying.
