Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter and rapper YFN Lucci have been broken up for some time now but she’s recently stated she’s done with rappers after this. The proclamation occurred on Instagram Live where she said it was him attending one of those cucumber challenge parties. In case you forgot what those are, which if you ever saw someone participating in a cucumber challenge, you likely will never forget, it’s when girls film themselves shoving giant cucumbers down their throat.

“I don’t care how old I get or how young I am, I will never allow no man to post a girl shaking they [sic] ass. I don’t care if she shaking it to your music. It’s a respect thing,” she explained to Shekinah. “Maybe that’s not my crowd but I would never be cool with no man going to no party with no naked girls shoving cucumbers anywhere. I would never be cool with no man commenting under a female’s picture that’s naked.” She continued, “I would never date another rapper. I already learned my lesson.”

The first strike was him liking the original video, followed up by him attending a party with girls participating in the cucumber challenge, there was Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Alexis Skyy shoving a cucumber inside of another girl. That was just a bridge too far for Reginae. Lucci on the other hand saw nothing wrong with it.

During an Instagram Live session, Lucci told Fly Fuy DC “I’m me, bro. If you ain’t gon’ like me, I ain’t trying to change to make you f**k with me. That’s how I [am],” When Fly Guy asked if the 8 year age difference contributed to their issues, he said it may have, but added “everybody ain’t the same” and that it all boils down to the individual.

TSR STAFF: Christina C! @cdelafresh ___ It seems both #ReginaeCarter and #YFNLucci have been doing some reflecting following their breakup. ___ During an interview with radio personality @iamflyguydc, YFN Lucci discussed his past relationship with Reginae, speaking to a variety of things including the infamous “cucumber party,” as well as the age difference between them. ___ “I’m me bro. If you ain’t gon’ like me, I ain’t trying to change or make you f**k with me,” Lucci said when asked if he wished to take back his involvement with fellow Atlanta rapper Trouble’s cucumber party (that followed social media’s infamous #Cucumberchallenge). ___ Lucci also suggested that age could have been a factor in their breakup but when asked if he had the responsibility to portray a different image with Reginae because her father is Lil Wayne, Lucci replied-read more at TheShadeRoom.com. During a scene on VH1’s T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle, she revealed how the breakup caused her and her father, Lil Wayne to grow closer. “To hear my daddy tell me that Lucci, he loves you probably, but he’s not in love with you because of the actions and the things that he’s doing,” she told the camera during one of her interviews. “My father told me that sometimes when people don’t know love themselves, they can’t love other people, and you can’t blame them for that. Sometimes people just don’t know how to love. Lil Wayne! He made the song! ‘How to Love.'”

The good part about it all is that Reginae’s doing better these days. She shared with hollywoodLife.com her workout while quarantining at home this week. “My trainer has a virtual online training program so every day at 6 [o’clock] I work out with him. I also dance and keep myself active around the house all the time.” Given the fact that most of the country is going to be at home now until God knows when, at least she’s taking care of herself first. And that’s important given all that she went through with him. He had his truck shot up last year and she could have been in it with him. She should be thanking God everyday that she dodged that bullet, literally.
