Rapper Roddy Rich performed at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival, the same festival that saw 8 people die and hundreds injured after audience-goers began to stampede. Rich posted on his Instagram account plans to help the families that were affected saying, “Please have the families of those who we lost yesterday reach out to @shawnholiday,” he wrote. “I’ll b donating my new compensation to the families of this incident. #Pray4Houston.”

This statement came after two apologies from Scott himself who said, “Please have the families of those who we lost yesterday reach out to @shawnholiday,” he wrote. “I’ll b donating my new compensation to the families of this incident. #Pray4Houston.” The second read, “I just want to send out prayers to the ones that was lost last night,” he said in part in a video shared to his Instagram Story. He later added, “I’m honestly just devastated. I could never imagine anything like this happening… Love you all.”

As for the what’s going to happen with the Astroworld Festival Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner told CNN’s Pamela Brown that there will be an investigation and that it “will take weeks, if not longer.” Names of all the victims from Friday’s concert are expected to be released Monday by the Harris County Medical Examiner. Victims ranged from 14 to 27 with 25 people taken to the hospital said Mayor Turner and 13 remained there. This included a 10 year old in critical condition.
