Social Media Star Oli London Gets Plastic Surgery to “Become Korean” to Look Like BTS KPop Star Park Jimin

Imagine the shock on one’s face scrolling through social media and seeing someone on a hospital bed getting plastic surgery to become of all things, Korean. Well that’s what a lot of people experienced over the weekend when Oli London suddenly became a thing in one of the most inappropriate moments of cultural appropriation. The person they’re trying to look like is BTS k-pop singer Park Jimin. Then if you go through their social media you’ll see a lot of lecturing on the behavior of other… Um, the fact that they’ve decided to do the equivalent of blackface but under the knife at a time when people are supposed to be respecting Asians, they really don’t have much of a leg to stand on in that department.

Now London is non-binary and has said they’ve felt they were in the wrong body for 8 years and says they’re happy to “be myself” because “I’m finally Korean.” London’s even changed their name to Jimin and spoke in a new video Korean in parts saying, “I know it’s a little confusing, nobody has ever come out as Jimin or Korean, but this is something you guys know … I’ve really struggled with identity issues with who I am.” Jimin said Korean’s their culture, their home country and happy to finally look Korean. after $150,000 in surgeries over the course of 8 years. The transition has been described by Jimin as “Being Transexual is the same as being TRANSRACIAL because you are born in the wrong body.”

No it isn’t. But to each their own. We’re likely going to get cataracts straining with the side eye on this one. No word from the real Jimin on what they think of this has been revealed yet.
