Soulja Boy just appeared on rapper Star2’s new record New Me, his third single alongside Luh Kel. The song narrates his rise to the top from the time they didn’t know him and now he’s living that life. The accompanying video goes from the neighbor across the street from his mansion shooting him a bird in response to him saying good morning to joining the party after coming over that night to complain. And SODMG artist Luh Kel is a good compliment to the track as well as Soulja Boy himself.
Star2 tells TheSource, “Making this song with Soulja Boy and Luh Kel was unreal,” explained Star2. The Thailand refugee rapper is currently putting the finishing touches on his 6 track EP to be released Spring 2023. It isn’t everyday that we see an Asian American rapper but being that his family walked a whopping 500 miles after their family’s village was burned down, we’re sure he has the tenacity to be in this industry.
