Sunday Inspiration: Mother – Daughter Duo Tasha Page Lockhart and Lisa Page Brooks Sing Mary Mary’s ‘Go Get It’

They sang Mary Mary’s Go Get It and as commenters on YouTube pointed out, it’s amazing they’ve gotten up and dared to perform the song again themselves after Lisa and Tasha did their amazing version of it. They had other hits of theirs sang by the likes of Keke Wyatt, Y’Anna Crawley and Tamela Mann.

Taking place at the Rialto Center for the Arts in Atlanta and hosted by Yolanda Adams almost a full 9 years ago to today as it aired February 19th, 2016, the show also paid tribute to Bebe and Cece Winans. The sibling duo is responsible for ushering in a new generation of gospel music of which without them there would be no Mary Mary or even Tasha Page Lockhart and Lisa Page Brooks.
