Kanye West rants are something that most of us have grown accustomed to but when others come on board vouching for what he’s saying, that’s when you know you should be paying attention. Kanye is now in over a month long tirade against Adidas starting with them copying a shoe of his. And after several weeks of seeing this play out across social media, rapper Swizz Beatz posted a pic of one of the bootleg Yeezy shoes with red x drawn through it.

“I usually mind my business but this is DEAD WRONG! If we let them do this to @kanyewest it will happen to us also!” Swizz captioned the post with. “This man created this groundbreaking innovation and it should be respected as a creative ! YE is only asking for his work to be respected and not stolen that’s not crazy to me !! We not buying these !!!!!!!!!!!! @adidas you’re supposed to be original do the correct thing please !!!” Kanye reshared the post saying “That’s love.” He then shared a photo of a smiling Swizz captioned with “This the energy.”

The grievance originally began with Kanye posting “adidas made up the Yeezy Day idea without my approval,” he wrote at the time. “then went and brought back older styles without my approval picked colors and named them without my approval went and hired people that worked for me without my approval stole my colorways without my approval stole my styles and material approached without my approval and hired a GM of Yeezy without my approval.” And after Kanye declared the CEO of Adidas, Kasper Rørsted dead at 60 on Instagram and that raised things to a completely different level.

But check out Swizz Beatz taking Kanye’s side in the Adidas debacle below:
