Rapper T.I. is currently trying to get Sabrina Peterson, a friend and associate that’s accused him of sexual misconduct and holding her at gunpoint to have her defamation suit against him thrown out. His explanation is that her reputation is so bad it can’t possibly get any worse.
T.I.’s attorney is saying she “is an adjudged liar, a convicted felon with a lengthy rap sheet for crimes involving dishonesty and violent assault, and has a reputation for being unscrupulous.” They also are expressing that she’s simply attempting a publicity stunt using his name.
Back in January the couple’s spokesperson made a statement saying, “Mr and Mrs Harris want to be on record and more importantly want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson.
“The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously.”
Claiming that a celebrity can’t possibly ruin one’s reputation because it’s already so bad is pretty tough. We’ll see where this goes from here.
