Rapper 50 Cent has taken his trolling to record highs today when he demanded a whopping $75,000 from a woman whose sex tape he posted online. Just how could something like that happen, you ask? Well singer Teairra Mari from Love & Hip Hop Hollywood had her sex tape leaked by her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad who’s friends with rapper 50 Cent who also posted it online. Apparently, for wasting the court’s time in losing this case, she was ordered to pay $30,000 in legal fees to 50. After replying that she didn’t have it, today was her court date to have her finances examined, to which she didn’t show.
A bench warrant’s now been issued if she doesn’t report to court by May 22nd. Clearly unphased, she went on Instagram posting a meme of her head superimposed onto Forest Gump’s body running from 50 behind her in a car. This is a good way to gain publicity, but a horrible way to go about dealing with a judge. It’s never a bright idea to mock a legal ruling in public because you WILL be reappearing in front of that judge and having to explain for your behavior.. and when you get the book thrown at you for being smug, don’t say you weren’t warned. Lori Loughlin left court smiling and taking pics with fans and that’s been described as blasphemous by legal experts consistently ever since. It’ll be a wonder to find out what the judge will think of all of this.
What we do know is what 50 thinks about it. He now says he wants $75,000 instead of the $30,000 for wasting his time today. There’s no telling if he can make such a command, probably not, but he clearly has the upperhand here. Anytime you can share another person’s sex tape without their permission and you end up getting paid for the ordeal, that is some Joanne the Scammer type of sorcery there.
