Covid19 might suck for a good amount of the country but not so for the privileged. We have people like Tekashi69 out early at home and now asking for the ability to shoot music videos in his backyard. Imagine the ability to make music while locked up. Now I’ve never been behind bars but still. It sounds like a good deal. His parole officer reportedly is okay with it. It’s just up to the judge to sign off on it. Lucky fool. But this is also pretty important considering how he just signed a $10 million deal with his former label 10k Projects, money he’ll get after making 2 albums. So the sooner he can get started, the sooner he can make that money.
While Tekashi’s got $10 million on the line right now, he hasn’t been acting like he’s been hurting in any way. He’s already purchased not 1 but 5 new cars, an Aventador, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes Benz G-Wagon and a Range Rover, none of which are cheap. Then he bought 4 watches and a $300,000 chain. And all this has happened in just 2 weeks. He has 3 months left on supervised release. He might want to pace himself.
And while Tekashi’s been blowing money left and right, do you know what he’s not been doing? He hasn’t been bothering with his child, if their mother is to be believed. He’s been accused of ghosting her. He claims he’s waiting for this whole covid19 thing to blow over but his mother also stopped being in contact with the baby mother. It’s never a good thing when the mother gets distant. That’s because Tekashi says she’s been begging to get back with him. He’s trying to hammer out a custody agreement so that sounds like he’s not interested in reconnecting.
And lastly, there’s someone asking to get out of prison he might wan to be concerned about, and someone he may wish he spent all that money he spent on cars and jewelry on security and that’s the person that kidnapped him in 2018. Like Tekashi, he said he’s asthmatic and is seeking bail. If this is true, there’s a good chance Anthony “Harv” Ellison, 32, can be out on the street. And if that hapens, well, we’re just going to say a prayer for Tekashi.
