Tekashi69 has been spending a ton of time in Dubai as of late and apparently the foreign soil’s caused him to want to settle down because he just appeared in a photo proposing to his new girlfriend. On one knee in front of a heart shaped backdrop of roses with a sign saying “Will You Marry Me,” the romantic seen is with a woman whose name isn’t yet known to the public. It also isn’t clear whether this is an actual proposal or say something for a music video. It was just August that his then girlfriend Rachel Wattley, who goes by Jade had been arrested for domestic violence when she attacked him and tried to snatch his chain.

The comments of DJ Akademiks sharing the photo of Tekashi69 proposing largely involve laughing with people not believing it was real and some saying it might just be that the sex was off the hook. And for the industry people that might be laughing, they shouldn’t laugh but so loud because he’s been in the boxing ring lately. After he punched a DJ in Dubai for refusing to play his music saying it was against his beliefs, he was challenged to a boxing match with the man to settle score. He’s since been training with 17-3 Iranian boxer Mohammad Ali Bayat Farid. And though it does appear he’s been getting in tip top shape to knock the man out again, he’s since said he has “nothing brewing in the boxing world” and is simply doing it to keep the weight off.
Back in 2018 he said, “I’ve been gaining a lot of weight and a lot of people have been calling me fat. “They’re drawing pictures of me. Instead of drawing me like the regular Tekashi, they’re drawing me like fat Tekashi. I’ve been making a lot of money and haven’t been caring about my physical appearance. So I want my fans to, like, join me.”
We’ll see if he changes his mind about boxing. Things have changed for the rapper since going behind bars and he might could use the extra coins.
