The Internet Celebrates Meagan Good’s Divorce Awaiting the Single Meagan to Emerge

Normally when longstanding relationships in Hollywood end, people mourn them. People post pictures of the couple talking about the good times, etc. Not Meagan Good. Meagan has been one of those fine people married to a pastor that people have been waiting for the moment to say go to pounce and that was definitely shown with her recent divorce announcement from Devon Franklin.

A joint statement from the couple was shared with People Magazine that read, “After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected. We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There’s no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love.”

They continued, “We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other.”

A comment from Twitter user can sum up social media reactions where they said, “I hate relationships ending but good Lord I was sick of pastor wife Meagan Good, BRING BACK THE BADDIE.”

And we can’t lie. Not to encourage bad behavior but it’s been in the back of our heads that she’s too fine to be with a pastor. It seems she agrees.
