It’s been over 13 years since Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest at the hands of his physician Conrad Murray who served 2 years in prison. Still, there have been many questions risen about how he died, all sought to be answered in the new documentary, TMZ Investigates: Who Really Killed Michael Jackson. In the film, Murray claims Jackson’s history of abusing drugs and his addiction being enabled by several doctors were completely unknown to him. He gave the singer propofol for his insomnia for two months prior to his death.

While he may claim he was unaware of other doctors working with Jackson, a pharmacist testified against him saying he had large amounts of the drug ordered for a number of patients, patients of his that he did not have. So that would mean he was intentionally overdosing Jackson ON TOP of other doctors involved.

In a trailer for the film, Murray is seen saying, “Michael Jackson was a drug addict, and he was a master at manipulation. I did not enable him at any time during his addiction. I would never do that. I cared about Michael too much. I loved Michael. I haven’t lost that love for Michael, despite the pain and suffering that I’ve encountered.”

Jackson’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe referenced his death saying, “I should have done something and I didn’t. There is a number of people that died from addictions and in some way I was part of it.” Rowe is a dermatologist assistant who worked for Beverley Hills dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein who died in 2015 for 27 years. Klein gave Jackson an assortment of drugs to which Rowe stated, “I was basically as bad as him [Klein] and I am so sorry I participated in it.”
