Megan thee Stallion’s new documentary In Her Words debuted today on Amazon Prime Video and already she’s made headlines with a shocking revelation about her relationship with Tory Lanez. About her interview with Gayle King, she said “I lied to Gayle King b*tch. I f**ked tat n*** once, maybe twice” and blamed being drunk as the reason why. But given the number of times she said in interviews that she didn’t sleep with him, this change in her story didn’t exactly sit well with Lanez’ legal team.

Lanez’ attorney Ceasar McDowell told TMZ today, “The fact that Megan lied about her sexual relationship with Tory obviously makes her an unreliable witness. If someone lies in front of millions of people, how can you trust what they say any other time?” And mind you, it isn’t as if we hadn’t heard this before. In 2020 during the trial, she admitted to sleeping with him because publicly discussing her sex life was affecting her relationship at the time with Pardison Fontaine. She said “I feel disgusted, I feel dirty, my own partner is embarrassed.” And it’s a shame how in the end, while she was trying to defend him publicly, they broke up because she caught him getting blown in the bed she slept in.

Viewers of the documentary have been split on what to make of Megan’s admission today with some saying, just as she did, what difference did it make if they were sleeping together when he shot her? But a lie is a lie and fans of Lanez point out that just as his attorney said, she can’t be trusted. All we can say is to tell that to the jury that helped send him behind bars for the next 10 years.

Glitzers, do you think it matters that Megan lied to Gayle King about sleeping with Tory Lanez?
