Travis Scott is still in the doghouse within the industry about his role in the AstroWorld catastrophe which has now lead to a magazine cover of his with W Magazine on the verge of being removed. Editors are being said to want to distance themselves from the man behind the event that left 10 dead and over 300 injured. So far it’s gone to print but hasn’t been shipped yet.
“W editors have cleared any planned coverage of Travis and Kylie from their website, but the magazine was already printed, and now they are trying to stop the delivery trucks,” one source told Page Six. “In the light of what happened at Astroworld, the interview and cover lines seem inappropriate, to say the least.”
Scott has said that he’s devastated about what happened but was spotted at Dave & Busters after and Drake was out at a stripclub despite both being alleged to have known what was transpiring. He’s hired the former Mayor of Baltimore, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake as his spokesperson. We’ve yet to see if she’ll be able to smooth things over but it’s certainly not going to be an easy job.
