A 36 year old woman in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania on Friday, July 23rd had the police called on her for playing Cardi B and Megan thee Stallion’s ‘WAP‘ playing too loud through a bluetooth speaker. Tamaqua Police Chief Michael Hobbs said police were sent to the Bungalow Pool to handle reports of a disturbance involving Stephanie Crute and her two daughters eventually asking them to leave. They refused.
When one of the officers turned his back, Crute pushed him. And when the officers tried to arrest her she started punching police and other patrons. Her 11 year old daughter began attacking one of the officers when they tried to handcuff her mother. Crute began kicking a police officer while being placed in the back of a police cruiser. One of the officers had to be hospitalized after being injured during the ordeal.
Crute was booked at Schuylkill County Prison after being charged with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault and resisting arrest as well as summary harassment and disorderly conduct. Despite being unable to pay 10% of her $25,000 bail, she was released Monday, July 26th. The 11 year old daughter was released to the custody of her father. Crute has a preliminary hearing August 3rd.
Cardi B and Megan thee Stallion should offer to help with her legal defense since she’s obviously such a fan. 🙂
