Young Thug has become the face of urban crime with his YSL RICO case where he currently has 8 charges centering around his label YSL aka Young Stoner Life being accused of being a gang and crime syndicate. His sister Dolly White shared on Instagram that she spoke to her brother recently and that he said he would be home soon. “I talked to My Twin Jeff,” she posted to her Instagram Story. “I told him I’m lonely out here without him. He said you supposed to be. I’ll be home in a minute. I miss tf out of him. Cause Dez B###### & N##### gone come & gone go so WE KNO HOW TO DEAL WIT YALL!!!!”
As it stands over 1,000 people are expected to be called as potential jurors for the trial to appear in court from March through May. Thugger, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams is one of 28 YSL members that were indicted in 2022 with several, to include rapper Gunna who have accepted plea deals to avoid trial. One person he has in his corner, though is rapper Boosie Badazz. He says his fellow YSL members owe him loyalty. In a recent VLAD interview, Boosie said they wouldn’t have had any success if it wasn’t for him in the first place. “Half them n***as that told on Young Thugga, all done got they fame off Young Thug. Most of them met they baby mamas ‘cause of him. You wouldn’t even have a child, n***a, if you was on somewhere else. You be loyal to that man.” He went on to say prosecutors, who have said they have as much as 300 witnesses willing to testify against Thugger is treating the case like they’re going after a team and proceeded to compare Thugger to Michael Jordan. “Who the fuck is Scottie Pippen when we talkin’ with the team? Gunna,” he said. “So if Scottie Pippen says it’s a gang… Michael Jordan say it’s not. What the fuck?!”
Things have been looking a little tough for Thugger, especially after that leaked YSL Woody interrogation video. But it seems he’s pretty confident he’ll be free soon. We’ll be reporting on what happens.
